BUKIT MERTAJAM: A teacher was killed when he was hit by an express bus along the North-South expressway, here, early yesterday.
S. Bhaskaran, 35, was killed instantly in the 4.45am incident.
His car had only moments earlier spun out of control after grazing another vehicle, ending up in the middle of the expressway.
Bhaskaran, who had been driving to his Jitra home alone, alighted from his car, ostensibly to check the damage to his vehicle, and was almost immediately hit by the bus.
A traffic police spokesman said Bhaskaran was flung about 100m by the impact.
